LIMITED EDITION FILM POSTER BY AUSTRALIAN ARTIST CAROLINE STIRLING, NAMED ONE OF WORLD’S 200 BEST ILLUSTRATORS . . . BUY NOW IN THE STORE!
The producers of “My Fool Heart” were lucky enough to commission rising Australian artist, Caroline Stirling, to design the new movie poster. She was just named one of the best 200 illustrators in the world. The poster is available only in a numbered limited edition silk-screen on Utrecht American Masters 100% cotton, acid-free paper. Unlike most movie posters where the studio marketing department dictates the outcome, the producers of the film gave Ms. Stirling free rein to create something from hundreds of images from the film. She chose to work with an interesting shadow image of Jim Waive playing the guitar, an image that also can be interpreted as a man holding a gun.
Producer-Director Jeffrey Martin reviewed the work of nearly 100 international artists since he wanted a non-local take on Jim Waive and the film. He reports on the collaboration with the artist: “Caroline was wonderful to work with. She’s an amazing painter and great at capturing the mood of the film. The hand-drawn type she created for the poster is fantastic! We wanted something that was the opposite of the slick commercial movie lobby posters and she came through with a terrific design.”
The high quality silk-screening was the work of a team of dedicated artists and printers at Crazy Horse Studio, headed by owner Don Melcher, designer Andrew Stronge, and printers Peter Fish and Scott Loveday. It required their willingness to work with Caroline in Australia and solve issues over the Internet. A world apart, they all created one great poster for this film.
The film posters are available now for $20 with FREE SHIPPING ANYWHERE IN THE U.S. Purchase below. They are expected to sell out quickly. Caroline Stirling’s other work can be seen at her website at www.carolinestirling.com.au.
